A Warm Welcome Awaits at Wylam Bed and Breakfast
Sitting quietly on the Tyne, Wormald House is a Wylam bed and breakfast that offers guests a truly friendly welcome.
Why stay at Wylam bed and breakfast?
Firstly, Wylam is a pretty village in Northumberland close to the city and yet feels relaxed and rural. Secondly, it is served by the main train line from Newcastle to Carlisle so it is easy to get to. We are stone’s throw away from the mighty Hadrian’s Wall walk and Sea to Sea / Coast to Coast (C2C) trail. This is why Wormald House is the perfect place to unwind and relax after a shopping spree in Newcastle, a hike along the Wall or to rest those cycling legs.
If you are “Walking the Wall” you can keep perfectly on track without having to rack up extra miles as we will offer a free pick-up/drop-off service from Heddon-on-the-Wall or East Wallhouses if pre-arranged. We can also offer you a hearty packed lunch for your next day’s walking.
There is parking outside the property and plentiful free parking at the Riverside Country car park just a minute’s walk down the road.
