Wormald House Terms and Conditions
We look forward to welcoming you. We do not want to confuse you with lots of jargon and legal wording. Our aim is to ensure you are fully aware of what you are agreeing to when making a booking. With this in mind, here are Wormald House’s terms and conditions.

Wormald House Payment terms
For all bookings, we prefer a BACS bank transfer. The full payment is due at the time of booking or upon receipt of your invoice unless otherwise agreed. Our bank details will be on the invoice that is emailed to you. Your payment confirms your booking.
If you are from overseas and/or you do not have a UK bank account we accept payment by PayPal. We will invoice you from PayPal directly and payment is due on receipt.
Prices
The price includes accommodation and fully cooked breakfast. Pack lunches and laundry fees are extra.
Guest Cancellation
Our agreement is a legal contract. If you need to cancel please contact us as soon as possible.
We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us. We do, however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can intervene. For this reason we try to be as sympathetic and helpful as possible in such cases.
You can cancel up to 14 days prior to the arrival date without further charge.
For cancellations within 14 days of the arrival date, we reserve the right to invoice for the entirety of the cost of the booking.
Wormald House Cancellation
Non-payment
If you fail to make a payment within two weeks of booking, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
Non-availability
If your accommodation becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control we would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. However, if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund any monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival and Departure
Check-in is from 4.00pm on your day of arrival.
Please let us know if you are to arrive earlier or later, as alternative check-in arrangements can be arranged. You are most welcome to arrive earlier to park your car and drop off bags but please let us know beforehand.
Check-out time is by 10.00am on the final morning of your stay.
If you are waiting for transport let us know and we can discuss a late check-out. You are welcome to leave luggage or a vehicle for later collection if you let us know in advance.
During you stay at Wormald House Bed and Breakfast, you are also agreeing to the following:
- You are over 12 years of age. If under 18 you are accompanied by an adult.
- You are not bringing a dog or any other animal onto the premises (unless you have explicit consent).
- You will not smoke or light candles anywhere within Wormald House Bed and Breakfast.
If we find that you have smoked you will be charged £50 for additional cleaning.
You must not leave your dog unattended in your room. If we find that your pet has soiled the furniture or carpets you will be changed £50 for additional cleaning.
Guest Areas
As we are a small home-owner run B&B, we sadly do not offer communal guest areas other than the dining room for eating breakfast and take-out dining.
