B&B Wylam We're good to go Visit England logoB&B Wylam AA Covid-19 confident logoA Warm Welcome Awaits…

Sitting quietly on the Tyne, Wormald House is a Wylam B&B offering guests a truly friendly welcome. Why stay here?

Firstly, Wylam is a pretty village in Northumberland close to the city and yet has a semi-rural ambiance. Secondly, it is accommodated by the main train line from Newcastle to Carlisle. Thirdly it is on the main tourist routes of the mighty Hadrian’s Wall and Sea to Sea / Coast to Coast (C2C). Therefore our Wylam B&B is the perfect place to unwind and relax after a shopping spree in Newcastle, a hike along the Wall or to rest those cycle legs.

In addition, hikers will be able to enjoy a free pick-up/drop-off service from Heddon or Wallhouses. If you are “walking the wall” you can keep on track without having to do extra miles.

Above all, whatever the reason for your visit we will attend to your every need.

There is parking outside the property and plentiful free parking at the Riverside Country car park just a minute’s walk down the road.

The Craven family previously owned Wormald House and we would like to thank them, and David in particular, for their dedication and hard work over many years of service.
