When you arrive at Wormald House your services include a packed lunch option for the next day’s walking. You’ll find a menu in your room from which you can select your breakfast choices in advance. Also you can select any pack lunch requirements. We will make everything up fresh for you in the morning.

Our packed lunches include a bread roll (Brown, white or gluten-free bread) with fillings of your choice including vegan options, a flapjack, a packet of crisps, fresh fruit and a juice drink costing £9.00 per lunch  (cash only please).

We understand the importance of delivering clean and fresh clothing, especially if you are a walker or long distance traveller.

Our laundry service for washing, drying and folding is £5 per load (cash only please).

We offer a free pick-up and drop-back service for Hadrian’s Wall walkers.

Pick up is from 3.30pm onwards. If you want to use this service please call us when you arrive at your planned destination.

We can drop you back to your starting point in the morning. Please make sure you are ready to leave by 9.00am. (You will also need to have your bags packed and ready to be picked up at 9am if you are using a baggage transfer company).

Our walkers’ favourite pick up points are The Swan Inn or Three Tuns pub in Heddon and The Robin Hood in East Wallhouses.

You may discover that British weather can be unpredictable. We can help to keep your feet dry and snug by gently drying your sodden boots next to our Aga. We will pack your boots with paper first if they are very wet. Embrace the quintessential British weather while ensuring your feet are dry for the walk ahead.
